Footeria!

Foo wanted to take a moment and introduce his brand-new game called Footeria! It's based on the traditional Loteria Mexican bingo game! And boy is it fun! Check out the Foo-Chandising page for more information and how to get your own!
Foo always likes to play on his own card, but he's a little stingy with the money.
It's fun for the whole family and people of all ages for up to 11 players!

Two Prong Foo

Although Foo is a lone-wolf Foo Dog, when he finds his family members in his travels, they often come in pairs
Foo found these two happily guarding a Buddhist temple in Stafford, TX. They don't even look too upset about the heat!

Protected By Foo Dog

This cousin of Foo’s really took his job seriously at a sculpture garden shop in rural Texas. Apparently crime happens here, and this Fu’s skills are legendary. Just look at the decapitated head of an intruder that he uses for a footrest!

Immigration Nation

Foo liked how inspiring this memorial to the immigrant was. Mother America is reaching up to the stars to embolden the tired, poor and hungry of the world.
From the back, Foo noticed the nice people Mother America was protecting and looking out for, not shutting out.

This is how it should be.

Family Foo-ever

Foo just loves this saying because it's oh so true. He always enjoys spending time with his family even when he roams far from home.

Somebody Moss Me

Foo was fascinated by the fact that moss could grow hanging from trees. He thought it only grew on rocks, or members of his family that stayed for long periods of time in wet places...

Family Portrait

Foo loved his time at the beach with family, especially such a cute family like the Hylas!

Re-Foo-nion

As often happens on Foo's many journeys, he ran into another of his cousins during the Great Urban Race. He thinks next year they need their own team because his team didn't take enough pictures of him on the race this year.

Foo-mily Reunion!

Like he seems to do everywhere he goes, Foo found another one of his cousins in the garden. The big golden brethren tried his best to get Foo to stay and play a while longer, but he really needed to get out and back to the Texas Renaissance Festival. He knew there was more to see.

Smiley Kyleah!

Foo loves visiting with family, and Jonathan's niece, Kyleah, just loved playing with Foo.

All in the Foo-mily

Foo happily welcomes two new additions to his Foo family. Meet Egg (left), a lovely little girl, who will be traveling to Mexico this summer to study Spanish and Mexican culture. And meet Yung, a rompin' stompin' little Foo boy, who will be traveling to Kansas this summer to study World War II literature. We wish them safe travels and happy studies.

Mi Circus Es Foo Circus

Foo really threw himself into circus life and dressed the part after finding his uncle Gold Foo who DID join the circus!

He thinks the costume they gave him really brings out his eyes.

The Origins of Foo...

There are many stories and legends about how the Foo of the famed "foodogblog" came into existence. Although some are based in fact, no one, before this moment, has really known the true story.

Several years ago, at Allerton Park in Central Illinois, two young and unsuspecting adventurers stumbled upon the mythic garden of the dogs of Fu.

The Foo were many and varied and caught the fancy of the adventurers, and thus Foo Dog of the blog was born.

But overall, Foo was just happy to return to his roots to catch up with his family all at once...

... and also pay homage to the shrine of his ancestors that came before him.

For the Love of Foo

Foo was ecstatic when he turned a corner at the Columbus Zoo and discovered his longlost Foo brother! It was a Foo-y happy reunion!

Foo Photo Folly

Foo noticed the absence of his photo on the family bureau of photos at Victoria's grandparents' house, so he quickly jumped up there and made a place for himself in the family photo hall of fame.

Friend? Brother? Ludo?

Foo thought he had found his long lost Foo brother, but it just turned out to be another mythical creature called the Hoadag, native to North Central Wisconsin. It's the local high school mascot and just really, really freaky.

There may be some Foo-mily resemblance though...

Tippecanoe and Foo Dog, Too

Foo found himself a Foo-size canoe at the lodge in Chippewa Falls!

He hopes his new friend, Sidney, will help him portage it down to the river!

If a Foo Sleeps in the Woods...

He has a great time and he stays at this beautiful lodge in Chippewa Falls! Foo had a great time celebrating birthdays and anniversaries and throwing bags, wrestling on the hillside, and eating till his little Foo heart was content. There was a bad snoring bear in his room, though, so the night was a little ruff!

We Are Foo-mily!

Foo fit right in with the family, especially the cousins! His favorite Foo-mily members were Kayla, Quin, and Sidney, who all smile just like him!

Of course, everyone else had to get their picture with Foo as well, including KJ and Jed! Foo still likes KJ even though he did give him the bunny ears.

He even forgives Jed for trying to hide him and make him lost.
