Foo No More

Even though Foo was young and little to go to the actual performance, Victoria brought him back this really cool mask from the interactive production of Sleep No More, an experience that makes the audience a big part of the show as they run after characters and try to figure out the story of MacBeth.

Jo Jo the Coffee Cup

Foo met people of all kinds while in New York, including this cup named Joe. Who knew that all the things in New York had names and things to say. Well, Foo did most of the talking. Joe just kind of held it all in.

Funky Art Town

Foo is all about finding funky art in funky places around funky cities, so he was delighted not to be at all disappointed with New York.

Walk With a View

The view from up on the walkway was super cool. Foo felt like he was flying over the streets.
He even found this cool glass lookout so he could float over the streets and the cars and still be ultra safe.
Too bad for those passing pedestrians below. Foo is quite the spitter.

Walking High

Foo was floored when he found this elevated nature walkway in the middle of New York City. He just had to go check it out.
Foo found up there a whole new world. Even though he was surrounded by the tall buildings, he also had plants, so he felt like he was walking in a field of fun.

Foo Deco

Foo just loves architecture and really loved seeing this great example of Art Deco metal crafting in the great Big Apple. It's pretty, and it's good for climbing.

Zero Grounded

Very strange for Foo to be at Ground Zero. It looked so empty. Kinda eerie and kina hopeful at the same time.

9-11 Rememories

Foo found himself suddenly at the memorial for 9-11. He didn't get to see it himself, but the images sure are terrifying.
The memorial had many interesting parts to it, including actual material that once was the tower.
He even found a Statue of Liberty replica with all kinds of signs and stuff and particulates. Very internationally patriotic!
Foo was especially pleased to see the specs for the new sculpture that will go on the site of the former towers. As far as memorials go, it is very interesting... and a hole in the ground.

Badger Badger Badger

Foo was fascinated by all of the badges from all of the service workers who flocked to New York to help out with the 9/11 disaster. There are good people in the world... well beyond Foo that is.

Hand it to Foo

Foo had to hand it to New York that the people were always there with a helping hand and giving out a hand. It was shown in this handsome display that was very hands on.

Hope Eternal

Foo was so happy to see that there was still hope everywhere in New York City. So much that they hang up signs about it. He hopes he gets to come back for more hope someday.

Church Gate

Among all the giant buildings, Foo was fascinated to find this little old, really old church, just hiding out underneath the soaring beasts.
Luckily there was this big fence to keep all the rest of the city at bay. It could use a coat of paint though.

Poisoning Pigeons in the Park

Foo was walking in the park by the NYSE and found these pigeons just lounging about, not being productive and not buying any stocks.
He thought that was quite lame, so he wowed to find a way to make them work harder...

Best View in the City

This truly was Foo's favorite city view. It looks so tiny and so huge at the same time... very pretty in the sunlight. Don't ya think?

Just a Little Liberty

While Foo was on the ferry, they gradually got closer and closer to the real Statue of Liberty, but since Hurricane Sandy had recently come to visit, they couldn't go much closer.
Still, Lady Liberty must get tired holding her hand up all the time. Foo knows a thing or two about holding a pose for a very very long time.

Her really though the view was excellent, and even though he couldn't quite shake her hand, he gave a good Foo salute and a smile from the boat.

Ferry Tales

Even though there were no actual fairies to be found as Foo had thought, he did get to learn about real brewed tea and sit among the locals.
And boy was the view of the harbor awesome! Shiny sun... so amazing...

Ferry Boat Mother

Foo didn't really want to leave New York City, but he did want to get full views of the city and he heard there was also a Statue of Liberty (a bigger one) in the harbor. He was excited to go on the big boat, especially since there would be fairies!

Ride 'Em Red Boy

Foo puzzled over this sculpture for a few minutes before figuring out that it was a guy riding a horse. Too bad it looks like both were flattened by a train sometime back. New York apparently is quite magical!

Streetside Kickline

Everybody in New York City was so fond of dancing, even these big red and yellow metal people across the street and the pigeon on the ground. Foo wanted to join the pigeon in the dance, but the birdy flew away before the big finish.

New York Fashion

Here in New York City even the snowmen are Gap fashionable. Foo was concerned that the snowman was hanging out inside and had a future so bright he had to wear shades. It would be so sad if Snowy melted.
