Fountain Fail

See how dangerous those children in back were being, and sadly he was just as dangerous, taking a huge spill when he tried to pose for a photo (notice the lack of tail). Luckily nothing ever gets Foo down. (It took a quick fix of panic and superglue procured from Walgreens.) That was a close one.

Spitting Distance

Foo found this really cool head sculpture at a business plaza near his hotel.
The only problem was that when Foo got too close, the statue actually spit on his head. Not the shower he had been expecting, but it was a very bracing way to begin the morning.

Emerald City in Waterland

Foo found it fun when he saw the top of the Emerald City poking out through this fountain. Who knew that Oz was really in a fountain in Princeton! Foo wonders where all the desert is.

One Fine Fountain

Foo just couldn't stop finding cool things in Central Park, including this really neat fountain. He knows he's seen it in a movie sometime... oh yes... One Fine Day... ah... he loves Michelle Pfeiffer.

Cool-Off Foo

Foo was so happy to find this Foo-sized outdoor shower so he could cool off a little. He's not that fond of melting after all. The only weird part was all the people standing around watching him... awkward...

Par for the Kour

Foo just had to visit this fountain when he heard it was where they shot one of the scenes in the movie, "Sidekicks" with Jonathan Brandis and Chuck Norris. Foo leapt from platform to platform, avoiding the water.
And when Chuck Norris showed up to compliment Foo on his mad jumping skills, Foo was so in awe that all he could say was, "Thank you, Chuck Norris."

Ninja Fountain

Foo was just minding his own business and walking through this plaza when suddenly out of the ground started spray these jets of water! Luckily, it was a really hot day and he really didn't mind getting cooled off.

Cold-Blooded Revenge

There's nothing like the taunts of a penguin sitting inside an ice-cold air-conditioned van on a hot summer day to make Foo want revenge. But... eh... it was too dang hot for him to stay angry very long. Besides, nearby there were fountains to play in.

Discovery Cyclone

Foo discovered a lot of things here at Discovery Green, including this really neat architectural play fountain that people could play in and cool down. Foo wanted to join in, but there were leash laws in effect and so he couldn't be let go.

Esplain to Me

Foo just thought this Plaza De Espana was interesting and beautiful. Apparently it tells the history of Spain's influence in the city of New Orleans, but Foo just wanted to drink from the fountain.

Make a Wish

Foo had heard that if you blow on these dandelion puffs, when the white stuff comes off you can make a wish.... but this one, being huge... and water... just made Foo wet. At least it was a hot day... so actually Foo's wish did come true.

You're My Water Ball

Foo really had a ball watching this giant stone sphere turn freely in this really cool water fountain. He tried to move the giant ball himself, but had no luck. He didn't know water was that strong!

Mr. Pointy

Foo took a moment to pose with the obelisk in Hermann Park, and then a fountain started coming out of his back... As soon as he moved,  he was fine, but whoa... that was weird...

Mecom? No You Come

Foo loved the name of these fountains (Mecom) even though the traffic circle was just too busy to cross (photo is not a good example--rare break in cars)....

Rotund Gurgles

Also at the Cancer Survivors Plaza, Foo found this really intricate rotunda, apparently dedicated to the cause.
He was really thirsty and wanted a drink from the fountain, but there was a security guard nearby so it wouldn't have been the best idea...

A Little of Column A...

At first Foo thought this was just a really big wheel turned on its side, but then he took a closer look and realized it was a colonnade... not to be confused with a colon aid... ewww.

Fountain of Memores

Foo was just chilling and relaxing at this really neat fountain in Market Square in Houston, enjoying the cool stone pattern, twisty spikes and a rock seat made for Foo, but then he noticed something really special.
Called Lauren's Garden, this neat artistic fountain and gardens is dedicated to all who were lost in the September 11 attacks. As Foo took a moment to read the poem and reflect on the fallen, he was glad he found this place and didn't pee in the fountain.

You Spew Goats

Foo thought this fountain was nice and peaceful and was about to take a drink when he looked up and saw that the "water" was actually goat spit... ew...

A Bit of Bubbly

Foo really liked the Neuhaus Fountain in Sam Houston Park because it kind of matched his color a little and the water was bubbling fresh and clear. He promises the bubbles were not his farts, even though he did just have a burrito.

Fountain of Foo

Foo has claimed this geometrically interesting fountain as the best place to sit and think and drink during lunchtime. They kind of frown when he swims in it though so that's no fun.
