Foo had really wanted to visit Ellis Island on his trip to New York, since he too, and his ancestors are immigrants to the great US of A, but sadly Hurricane Sandy had other ideas... so this was as close as he could get.

Foo liked how inspiring this memorial to the immigrant was. Mother America is reaching up to the stars to embolden the tired, poor and hungry of the world.

From the back, Foo noticed the nice people Mother America was protecting and looking out for, not shutting out.
