Dinner With the Ladies

Foo, Victoria, and her cousins Katie and Courtney enjoyed a lovely Italian-pizza dinner before heading off to one of the coolest theater experiences ever. Yummy in the tummy and great company, too.

Workable Wonders

Apparently in New York, art doesn't always have to stand still. On the elevated walkway, Foo discovered a group using the crowd as part of the art. Foo just loved being in step with these creative people.

Building Exfoliation

Seems that in New York, everybody is getting a facial or a chemical peel, including this building. Some sign said it was "art," but Foo kinda thinks it was more a rash gone bad.

Mural Marvels

Foo loves street art, especially when it's so super cool and graphic like this one with tons of images and lots of stories to tell.
Rainbow power! Everything's better with rainbows, and this wall knows it!

Subway Fun

Foo just had to get a pic of him riding the New York subway. It was strangely empty, so Foo imagined that he was in the scene where Spike tussles with the foxy black slayer and kills her then takes her cool coat. Foo wants a long black leather coat now.

Roots of Heros

Foo was confused how this tiny tiny root could shield a church from 9/11 debris, especially since it was inside that church, but then he realized that it was just a replica of a larger sculpture that memorialized the real one outside.

Old York in the New

Foo was fascinated that even in the big-building landscape of New York City, he could find a tiny tiny old church and a graveyard in the middle. Kinda creepy, kinda fun... wonder what's inside?

Chopstick-zilla

Foo was really hankering for a massive helping of Chinese food, so it was fortunate that he found these giant red chopsticks on the streets of New York. Now all he had to do was find some yummy Egg Foo Yung.

Bull Balls

Foo had always heard that you're supposed to grab the bull by the horns to take control of your life and situations... but apparently at the New York Stock Exchange they have a slightly different philosophy...
Here they have the habit of rubbing the bull's balls for luck... Foo was afeared of getting any closer than this. That must be why he doesn't make all that much money.

Hello Ellis

Foo had really wanted to visit Ellis Island on his trip to New York, since he too, and his ancestors are immigrants to the great US of A, but sadly Hurricane Sandy had other ideas... so this was as close as he could get.

Quick Staten Visit

It was a really quick ferry ride, and this is what Foo saw went they pulled into Staten Island. A lot of logs...
He was glad he was on the boat and didn't have to swim and navigate all those pillars. That could be awkward.
Yup, that was all he saw of the island. Now he's already on his way out. Thrilling...

Scraping the Sky

Foo just couldn't get over how tall all the buildings were in New York City.... He kept looking up and up and up... but could never quite leap any in a single bound...
He did like the twistiness of this one however. The architect must have been drunk or something. Foo hopes it doesn't fall down...

Wall of Coffee

Foo had heard of the Great Wall of China and the Berlin Wall, but this was his first encounter with the Convenient Wall of Coffee. Hot and steaming right from the wall, it only cost 5 cents!

If Foo Can Make it There...

He'll make it anywhere... and so he did when he came upon this film crew while touring the streets with his friend Courtney. The crowds were hard to hold back, but he managed to make a quick getaway before they got too much of his fur.

Old Tour Guide

Foo found this chap looking off into the distance while he was walking down the street. Foo asked him for directions, since clearly he could see very very far in the distance, but the man was extremely fixated on something. Foo tried to find it, too, but at last gave up and continued on his way.

Light the Ramp

Foo was fascinated to find out that there were no stairs in Grand Central Station... just ramps... At least they were well lit by these tiny little suns so when he rolled down he would at least be able to see where he was going.

Bagels Bagels Everywhere

A trip to New York apparently is not a trip without a bagel run late at night to prepare for the morning. So Foo's friends took him right here to H&H Midtown Bagels East where the bagels went on for miles and Foo was all kinds of smiles.

Foo's Got the Beat

Not quite 42nd Street, but Foo like the tile work so much at one of the subway stops that he just had to sing and dance and carry on about it anyway!

Sub to the Way

Foo was excited to ride the New York subway, although it turned out to be a bit darker than he had expected. He did get to see his very first bigger-than-necessary subway rat.
Sadly the rat went away too quickly for a photo opportunity, but yay, the train was arriving!

Hello! Buenos Foo Dog!

Foo was so excited with the opportunity to get to see Evita with Ricky Martin! Really he just wanted to dance and sing on the Broadway stage, but they frown on that usually by unknown talent like him.
