Cubs Curses

Even thought Foo isn't exactly a Chicago Cubs fan (Go Sox!), he still thought it was neat to get to see Wrigley Field anyway. He spent most of his time looked for the billy goat though just to see what he had to say about the curse himself.

Roster-farian

Since the Astros are gutting the spirit of their baseball team right now, this clever costume made by a bitter local kind of says it all. Foo just laughed since he's a Sox fan and so his team will be crushing them next baseball season.

Put Me In Coach!

Foo was inspired by being in the baseball park, so after the game he found where they were holding tryouts. He just couldn't decide which position he liked best so he tried being a pitcher, and that was okay, but his arms weren't long enough...
... and a catcher, but then he realized the glove was too big for him and he might get hurt. Guess he'll just have to stick to football...

Pink for the Playuhs!

Foo had to get his street cred on so he donned this spanking new pink (ice cream) hat and fronted for all the playuhs.... Yeah, he wasn't convinced that that was manly or cool either... just sayin'.

Having a Ball!

Although Foo didn't catch this one in midplay, it was signed by one of the Milwaukee Brewers players as a souvenir from Foo's friend Carah. She kind of has one or two pieces of sports memorabilia.

Jack Rabbit

Since he was so closes to the action, Foo even got to meet the Astros mascot, Jack Rabbit! All was fun and games until Jack decided to steal Foo away and pretend to use his as a baseball. When Foo got loose, he chased Jack around the field until security go involved.

Best Seats in the House

Once Foo had gotten his brat (not quite Wisconsin good, but it was okay) and his mustard on, he headed down to his seats and was fascinated by how close he was to the field! What a view!

He was so close he could even smell the players!

I'm Going to...

Foo hadn't realized how big of an Astros fan Mickey Mouse was until he ran into him at Minute Maid Park and saw him all decked out in this getup. Foo's not sure he's onboard with the outfit, but they sure did have a ball together!

Give 'Em the Boot!

Foo got to visit the Astros at Minute Maid Park and he realized that if he wants to play in the big leagues he has big boots to fill.
And a lot of Astros history to learn. This boot already celebrated the 75th All-Star Game... He needs to kick it into high gear.

Say Hello to My Little Friends

Foo is always making friends, and this game was no different. He had a lot of fun playing with Vincent and Carmelo, who showed Foo the baseball ropes and made sure he understood the game.

Holy Mackerel

Another of Foo's favorite squishy visitors was Mackerel Jordan from the Chicago Bulls (yay). All was well and good until the fish man ate a ballplayer and sucked off all his clothes... now that's talent!

Boot Coozy Boogie

Foo was sure he was in Texas when he came across this boot-shaped beer coozie. He had to steer clear because he didn't want the beer to kick his ass.

Texas Scores

Just like everything else in Texas, the scoreboard at the Skeeters stadium was... you guessed it.... Texas.

Suite Seats!

Since Foo has friends in high places, he was fortunate enough to get invited to sit in the Maintenance Supply Headquarters corporate box seats!
In addition to all the free food and comfy seats, it was a great place to watch the game. Just look at that excellent view!

Buzz Fest

Foo went to check out the merchandise at the Skeeters store and found this buzzy and angry mosquito on everything! At least the mascot has some bite to it!

In the Stars

Foo was excited to attend his minor, minor, minor league baseball game at the new Constellation Field in Sugar Land, TX, home of the Sugar Land Skeeters! He just hoped it looked was bigger up close.

On the Ball

Traffic was so bad after the Dynamo game that Foo and friends walked to a bar downtown, passing Minute Maid stadium on the way where he found this gigantic baseball. He got off quickly because he was worried about the size the bat would be and didn't want to get smacked with that! Still he hopes one day to be able to go to an Astros game and see the inside too!

Bird in the Hand

On his brief stopover in St. Louis, Foo wondered if a bird (Cardinal) in the hand is worth two in the Bus(c)h (Stadium), does the team get to have extra players on the field for home games?

Brewery of Brotherly Love

While at the Saint Arnold Brewery, Foo met some fun and funky new friends from Philadelphia in for a brewery visit and a Phillies game.
All was well until everyone went a little crazy and wanted to lick him and kiss his butt. Aside from a little feeling of being violated, it's nice to meet new people.
