Mine Boom

Foo found a sad but important memorial to the fifth worst mining disaster in U.S. history. The concentric circle of headstones mark the 184 men who died in the blast, leaving the town of Rocky Top with only three adult males. Foo makes four.

Not Full Circle

Foo says he didn't get in the way of the sculptor, but it looks mighty suspicious that the sculpture just ends and doesn't make a complete circle. He does apologize for the crack in the base though. Foo just got too excited and had to jump right there to get up to his photo perch.

Circle the Flagstones

Foo just loves finding patterns in the pavement, especially when they are so geometrically pleasing. Plus, this stone circle was nice enough to color-coordinate with Foo in a round rainbow of wonders.

Circles in the Sand

Foo wanted to give an homage to Robin Sparkles and make Sandcastles in the Sand, but all he could do was ride around in circles since he wasn't at the Indiana Dunes but at the art museum, so he gives a shout-out to Belinda Carlisle instead!

Circle of Foo

Foo feels a little small, but strangely comfortable in this really cool park right by the Sage Inn hotel in Santa Fe where he is staying.
