Put Me In Coach!

Foo was inspired by being in the baseball park, so after the game he found where they were holding tryouts. He just couldn't decide which position he liked best so he tried being a pitcher, and that was okay, but his arms weren't long enough...
... and a catcher, but then he realized the glove was too big for him and he might get hurt. Guess he'll just have to stick to football...

Pink for the Playuhs!

Foo had to get his street cred on so he donned this spanking new pink (ice cream) hat and fronted for all the playuhs.... Yeah, he wasn't convinced that that was manly or cool either... just sayin'.

Having a Ball!

Although Foo didn't catch this one in midplay, it was signed by one of the Milwaukee Brewers players as a souvenir from Foo's friend Carah. She kind of has one or two pieces of sports memorabilia.

Jack Rabbit

Since he was so closes to the action, Foo even got to meet the Astros mascot, Jack Rabbit! All was fun and games until Jack decided to steal Foo away and pretend to use his as a baseball. When Foo got loose, he chased Jack around the field until security go involved.

Poppy the Balloon Dog

Foo wasn't the only dog in the stands that day. He was glad when his friend Poppy joined him shortly before the start of the game. Sadly, Poppy didn't quite make it to the end. When he tried to hide under the seats, things just didn't go so well...

Best Seats in the House

Once Foo had gotten his brat (not quite Wisconsin good, but it was okay) and his mustard on, he headed down to his seats and was fascinated by how close he was to the field! What a view!

He was so close he could even smell the players!

Friendly Vending

Before Foo went to find his seat, he had a voracious hunger and wanted to get a bite to eat. He was graciously served by these friendly vendors who requested a Foo-to and helped him get his food!

Beer With a View

As Foo strolled around Minute Maid Park before the game, he just had to grab a beer and get a good view of the enclosed field. And if you look really closely, you can see Foo's friend Carah in white right behind Foo's tail. That's where his seat was!

At the Pump

Although seeing this Home Run Pump may lead others to believe that the Astros are the reason why gas prices are always so high, but when Foo looked closer and thought about the Astros' record, he concluded that the horrible gas companies and oil barons should take lessons from them instead and keep the numbers low.

I'm Going to...

Foo hadn't realized how big of an Astros fan Mickey Mouse was until he ran into him at Minute Maid Park and saw him all decked out in this getup. Foo's not sure he's onboard with the outfit, but they sure did have a ball together!

Elevated Memories

Although note quite as impressive as the train outside, this Astros train was elevated so it made Foo think of his old home in Chicago..... Frown...

Biggy Piggy

Foo cuddled up to his new bestest biggest friend the Astros' giant piggy bank. Foo was hoping for more interaction, but the big guy was super focused on eating that orange. Well at least he won't get scurvy!

Root for Foo

Foo really likes this ad campaign. It makes him want to sign and support the home team, even if they aren't the White Sox.

Give 'Em the Boot!

Foo got to visit the Astros at Minute Maid Park and he realized that if he wants to play in the big leagues he has big boots to fill.
And a lot of Astros history to learn. This boot already celebrated the 75th All-Star Game... He needs to kick it into high gear.

Big Red Deal

Foo stopped to look at the gigantic Minute Maid Park, the only inside ballpark he's ever been to. Foo was also pleased to see that the marketing people had finally taken up the hint that Foo sometimes wishes to be called Big Red. Thanks guys!

In a Choo Choo Minute

Foo just loves trains, so he was excited to find this one outside Minute Maid Park in Houston. He thinks they've got it kind of wrong, though. If it has a cage around it, it can't be a train... so then what is it?? Foo walked away saddened and confused.

On the Ball

Traffic was so bad after the Dynamo game that Foo and friends walked to a bar downtown, passing Minute Maid stadium on the way where he found this gigantic baseball. He got off quickly because he was worried about the size the bat would be and didn't want to get smacked with that! Still he hopes one day to be able to go to an Astros game and see the inside too!
