On the Plane Again

After just a few short days of resting and lying low, jet-setter Foo is already back in the air and ready for more adventure.
This time, he's flying from Houston to New York City for his first visit there ever! He's so excited that he had to show the trajectory on this little map the airline provides!

Bridge the Gap

Foo just liked the curvy, smooth lines of this bridge and that it splits in the middle. He wanted to cross it, but he had to get back to the house to feed his cat friends.

That's Not a Cat

Foo had to laugh at the people of Houston for mislabeling their machinery. Foo lives with three of them, so he knows that that's definitely not a cat...

Art of Printing

Foo really liked finding this really cool art pieces that used a bunch of different print face tiles and other related items to spell out important names and dates about Houston...
... and Texas in general. But this display really does go to show that without Houston, the best city in the state, Texas is really not that shiny...

Get in Shape

This is just a random geometric art sculpture on a street corner in Houston. This town sure does love its outdoor art! Still, Foo really just wanted to push that cube in the circle in the cube right on through the back. Sadly, he didn't eat his Wheaties for breakfast...

Wall de Houston

Foo just loves this wall mosaic dedicated to the coolness of Houston. It has really everything you need to know about the city. And it's pretty!

Orange You Glad?

Since moving to Houston, Foo had been told time and time again to go visit The Orange Show, and finally he had a chance to do it
It looked like a whole lotta craze and not nearly enough oranges, but Foo was super excited to take a look all the same.

I Wonder

Foo found these curious 70-foot-tall pillars outside the Wortham Center, and he wondered what they were. Upon closer inspection, he realized he wasn't that far off. Called the Seven Wonders, the columns highlight Houston's history through agriculture, energy, manufacturing, medicine, philanthropy, technology and transportation. Each column is constructed of 150 individual children's drawings that are etched in stainless steel plate. Very Foo cool!

Bush Whacked

Although Foo is definitely not a fan of the Bush legacy, senior is a prominent member of the Houston community, so Foo had to go visit his statue. To his credit, he even refrained from peeing on it... just barely. He doubts he could show such restraint with a statue of W.

Oldest and Hauntedest

La Carafe is known as the most haunted and oldest bar still operating in Houston. Erected in 1866 as a bakery, it fed soldiers during the Civil War and was a Pony Express stop. Foo was a little too scared to go in, though, knowing it was haunted by the bartender ghost named Carl. If you look closely, you might be able to see him out of the second-story window.

Calming Columns

Foo had an incredible sense of tranquility come over him among the soothing concrete columns in Tranquility Park. It made Foo feel not so small in this city of very big buildings just a street away.

Old Timer

Foo was pleased that he could still tell time on this really old Sweeney Clock originally built in 1908. It's a good thing, too, because a clock that can't tell time is just a big box full of doohickies. Now it stands by itself in a garden so the squirrels can tell time, too. How thoughtful!

Foo for Mayor

Even though Foo really likes the current mayor of Houston, when he stumbled upon the really cool Art Deco City Hall, he just knew the building needed a Foo in office.
In his first speech as a mayoral candidate, which he gave in Hermann Square, Foo remarked how good he looked with such a pretty backdrop. When he takes office, he promises to keep Houston green (because it nicely complements his coloring) and to officially change the name of the city to Fooston. It's only logical.

Mini World

Foo learned that this is a representation of Houston and the world. The vertical ring is the meridian of Houston, the wide band has the signs of the zodiac and is the celestial equator and the rod with the ball is the Earth's axis and it points toward the North Star. Hmmm... who knew the Earth was so empty inside? Poor Earth.

Team Spirit

Foo loves being a Texans fan, and he's always finding great new stuff to decorate his space with Texan pride! Sadly, he just didn't have enough cash on hand, so all he came away with was this picture.

Working With the Foo

Foo went to work today. He was very excited to write about Las Vegas... where he's never been... hmmm he should do something about that....

Castles for Foo

Foo loved that the city of Houston finally recognized his superi-Foo-sity and present him with not one, but four castles for him to use near the Toyota Center.

Rockin' it '80s Style

Foo rounded out his night of fun rocking it to the music of the 80s at Etro Night Club. He scoped out hot 80s chicks.

He partied with the people in the balcony.

And he danced the night away with his good friend, Tank. Rock the Casbah!!!

Foo vs. Rex: The Championship Battle

While at Keneally's Irish Pub, Foo met a friend named Rex. At first they got along just fine, laughing, talking, playing, and shooting the breeze.

But then Rex decided he could ride Foo, and jump on his tail. Foo was having none of that because Foo is not a pony.
The fight raged on and on, but Foo took the advantage and managed to pin his adversary to the ground.

Then he picked him up in his mouth for good measure to show the little dino tyke who was really the boss.

In the end, no one was seriously injured, and they became friends again, vowing never to treat the other badly again.

Into the Guinness Forest

Foo makes his way into the dark, frothy Guinness laden woods at Keneally's bar in Houston. There he found delicious pizza, good friends, and a very formidable foe....
